Privacy policy

Effective 4 November 2026. This page says what information this website handles, who else receives it, and how you can limit that.

This policy describes the site as it works. It does not take away a privacy right a law gives you.

Who runs this site

This website is published by Rishi as Games by Rishi. It is a personal site, not a company. There is no separate business address. The public way to reach me about privacy is the Buy Me a Coffee page linked from the site. Messages you send there are received by Buy Me a Coffee as well as by me. Their policy is linked below.

What this covers

This policy covers every page on this website, including the game catalog, Last Lantern Delivery, and this page. If a later game is added on this same site, this policy covers that game until a newer policy says otherwise.

When you leave this site, the other site’s policy applies. The coffee button and the Google links on this page go to other sites.

What the site itself collects

The games do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or enter a name, email address, or payment card. Scores, health, and the rest of a run stay in the browser tab. Closing the tab clears that run. I do not receive a copy of it.

There is no comment form, mailing list, or analytics product of mine on these pages. I do not buy visitor lists, and I do not combine what little this site stores with data from brokers.

I do not ask for government ID numbers, precise location, health information, or other sensitive information. Please do not send those in a message.

Settings on your device

Last Lantern Delivery remembers three choices in your browser’s local storage, on your device:

Each value is a single on or off flag. Those flags are read back the next time you open the game on that browser, so the game can start the way you left it. They are not sent to me. Difficulty, progress, and other play settings are not saved.

You can remove them by clearing site data or local storage for this website in your browser. The game then uses its default settings again.

Advertising and Google

Every page loads Google AdSense so this site can show ads. The publisher ID is ca-pub-2430582778608307. The script is:

https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js

Google, and other companies Google works with, may collect and use information to serve ads, to measure ads, and to limit how often you see an ad. That information can include:

Google may use that information to show ads based on your interests, and to show ads that are only based on the page you are looking at. Which ads appear, and whether an ad appears at all, is controlled by Google’s settings for this site and by your ad settings.

I do not receive your Google account, a list of sites you visit, or a copy of Google’s advertising profile. Google acts under its own terms when it serves the ads.

Google describes this here:

You can control personalized ads from Google at My Ad Center and Google’s ad settings. Turning personalized ads off does not turn off every ad. Ads that are not based on your interests can still appear.

Industry opt-out pages, which cover many advertising companies at once:

Those opt-outs usually store their own cookie. If you clear cookies, you may need to opt out again. They also apply to that browser only. Blocking third-party cookies in the browser, or using a browser that blocks them, stops many of these cookies from being stored.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a site or a script stores in the browser. Similar tools include local storage, pixels, and mobile advertising IDs.

This site’s own pages set no advertising cookie and no analytics cookie. The three local-storage flags above are the only values the game writes.

Google AdSense can set and read cookies when its script runs. Google’s current names and purposes are on Google’s cookie page. Names change. The purpose does not: identify a browser so Google can serve, measure, and, when allowed, personalize ads.

The game code does not read the Do Not Track header or the Global Privacy Control signal. Browser controls still apply. If the browser blocks third-party cookies, or sends a signal that Google honors, Google’s own tools are what act on that signal.

Buy Me a Coffee

The Buy Me a Coffee button leaves this site and opens buymeacoffee.com/reeshee02. If you pay, create an account, or send a message there, Buy Me a Coffee processes your name, email, payment details, and message. I do not run that checkout, and card numbers are not entered on this website.

If you support the site, Buy Me a Coffee may show me the name, email, and message you chose to share with a creator. I use that only to see the support and to reply if you asked for a reply. I do not add it to an advertising audience.

Their policy is at buymeacoffee.com/privacy-policy.

Hosting

These are static files. The service that hosts them may keep ordinary server logs so it can deliver pages and defend the service. A log line typically includes the IP address, the date and time, the address of the page, the browser type, and the referring address. I do not run a separate log archive or analytics dashboard on top of that.

Loading the game also requests files from this same site, including pictures, scripts, and a music file. Those requests show up in the host’s logs the same way any other page request does. The music file is not tied to an account.

How information is used

I use the site to publish games and to show ads through Google. The three saved settings are used only to restore the choice you made. A message you send about privacy, or a note that arrives with a coffee, is used to answer you.

I do not use visitor information to decide credit, insurance, housing, employment, or anything similar. The games do not profile you for those purposes.

Do not sell or share my personal information

I do not sell personal information for money. I do not give a broker a list of visitors.

California law treats some use of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as “sharing,” even when no money is paid for the list. Google AdSense can use a cookie to select ads based on other sites this browser has visited. That is the sharing this heading is about.

To opt out of that advertising use:

I will not deny you the games because you opted out. The games do not require an ad profile to run.

I do not offer a financial incentive in exchange for personal information.

Children

The games are written for a general audience. They are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. The pages also are not directed at children under 16 in the sense of offering them a signup.

If you are a parent and you believe a child gave personal information through a message or a payment page linked from here, contact me and I will delete what I actually have. Information held by Google is deleted through Google’s own tools.

Europe, the UK, and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, I am the controller for the settings stored by the game and for any message you send me. Google is an independent controller for the advertising data it collects through AdSense.

The legal bases I rely on are:

You can ask me for access, correction, deletion, or a restriction, and you can object to a use based on legitimate interests. You can also ask for a portable copy of any information I actually hold about you. Because I do not keep accounts or a visitor database, the information I can produce is usually limited to a message you sent me. Settings live on your device, and advertising records live with Google.

You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office. A complaint does not remove the other rights above.

Google and the company that hosts the files may process information in the United States and in other countries. I do not ship a visitor database abroad, because I do not keep one.

US state privacy laws

Residents of California have the rights described under “Do not sell or share,” plus the right to know the categories of personal information collected, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for using those rights. California’s Shine the Light law also lets residents ask whether personal information was shared with third parties for their own direct marketing. I do not share visitor information that way.

Other state privacy laws, including laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states that have adopted a similar statute, give residents some mix of the right to know or access, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale of personal information. The way to use those rights on this site is the same: use the opt-out links in the advertising section, clear the three settings in your browser, and contact me about anything I hold. I will not discriminate against you for making a request.

I will need enough detail to find the information. If I hold nothing under your description, I will say so. If a request is abusive or impossible to match to a person, I may decline the part I cannot verify. An authorized agent may submit a request for you if the agent shows the authority you gave them.

How long it is kept

The three settings stay in your browser until you clear them or until the browser drops them. A run of the game is dropped when the tab closes.

I keep a coffee message or a privacy message only as long as I need it to account for the support or to finish the request, and then I delete it. I do not build a long-term contact list from those messages.

Host logs follow the host’s own retention schedule. Google keeps advertising data on the schedule in Google’s privacy policy.

Security

The pages are static files. Use a current browser, and prefer the HTTPS address if the host offers one. No method of sending information is perfectly safe. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers to me. Payments stay on Buy Me a Coffee.

Changes

If the site starts collecting something new, or a new company starts receiving information, I will update this page and change the effective date at the top. The page you are reading is the current policy. Older copies are not kept on a separate archive here.
